Siding, particularly vinyl siding, is often one of those jobs that can be done by a homeowner. However, just because it can be done, doesn't necessarily mean it should be done. That's because if you hang vinyl siding too loosely, moisture, wind and pests can make their way in, causing damage to the interior structure of your home. Conversely, if you hang the vinyl siding too tightly, it won't be able to expand and this can cause it to warp or bow. Knowing this and taking these many factors into consideration are just some of the things that a professional Sunnyvale CA siding contractor will do.
In addition to the work itself, we'll also keep you updated at every step and clean up the job site so that all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your gorgeous new siding.
If you've had your siding for a while and you're wondering whether or not it needs to be replaced, it's a good idea to call professional Sunnyvale siding installers to come and take a look. We can investigate to determine if things like wind or water damage, or even UV damage has left your siding brittle, broken or even let in damage that you cannot see just by looking at the outside of it. We're more than happy to answer any questions you may have about replacement siding or new siding installation, and if you're not sure what type of siding could be right for your needs, we'll gladly bring along a variety of superior siding catalogs so that you can decide the best way forward that makes your home look absolutely amazing. Just don't be surprised if your neighbors start asking "who did your exterior siding? It looks great!"
Hiring a Sunnyvale siding company is one of those decisions you'll want to make if you want to ensure that the work is professionally done. But another common question is how much you should budget for new or replacement siding. The answer to this is that it depends entirely on your home and your needs. There is no one size fits all approach for everyone. For example, if you're looking to sell your home, fiber cement siding or James Hardie Siding adds a higher resale value and gives a better perception to prospective buyers than vinyl siding, but vinyl siding is more durable and long lasting.
You'll also want to consider the overall architectural structure of your home. Some homes look great with a more modern look like vertical siding and others with a completely different style. Of course, we understand that not everyone is an architect, that's why we're happy to answer any questions you may have as well as suggest possible ideas for your new or replacement siding that will make your home look incredible.

The Ohlone, or Costanoan, tribes inhabited the Santa Clara Valley before the Spaniards arrived in the 1770s. They practiced agriculture, hunting, and fishing in the resource-rich valley. The Spanish invasion brought novel diseases such as measles and smallpox that killed the Ohlone in massive numbers. Unfortunately, there was no cure for the above conditions at the time.
Sunnyvale, was originally established under the name City of Murphy. It was so-called after one of the first settlers there, a rancher and wheat farmer named Martin Murphy, who bought part of the Rancho Pastoria de las Borregas land (granted to couple Francisco Estrada and Inez Castro by Governor Juan Alvarado in 1842). Murphy later renamed his land Bay View. Santa Clara’s economy soon began to favor fruit farming over wheat production, and fruit canning and agriculture developed into a huge industry in the area.
In 1901, when Murphy’s residents convened to name their post office, restrictions prohibited them from calling it Murphy after the founder. Therefore, they decided to change the name of their town to Sunnyvale. Eleven years later, Sunnyvale residents voted to incorporate their city into an official town.
The economy of Sunnyvale, pivoted from fruit production to technology innovation during the Second World War when entrepreneurs established ironworking plants that manufactured steam engines, rocket launchers, and naval guns to supplement the American war effort. After the war, most of the remaining fruit farms were replaced with homes, factories, and offices to accommodate the technology and defense companies that began to set up shops all over Sunnyvale.
