Siding, particularly vinyl siding, is often one of those jobs that can be done by a homeowner. However, just because it can be done, doesn't necessarily mean it should be done. That's because if you hang vinyl siding too loosely, moisture, wind and pests can make their way in, causing damage to the interior structure of your home. Conversely, if you hang the vinyl siding too tightly, it won't be able to expand and this can cause it to warp or bow. Knowing this and taking these many factors into consideration are just some of the things that a professional Daly City CA siding contractor will do.
In addition to the work itself, we'll also keep you updated at every step and clean up the job site so that all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy your gorgeous new siding.
If you've had your siding for a while and you're wondering whether or not it needs to be replaced, it's a good idea to call professional Daly City siding installers to come and take a look. We can investigate to determine if things like wind or water damage, or even UV damage has left your siding brittle, broken or even let in damage that you cannot see just by looking at the outside of it. We're more than happy to answer any questions you may have about replacement siding or new siding installation, and if you're not sure what type of siding could be right for your needs, we'll gladly bring along a variety of superior siding catalogs so that you can decide the best way forward that makes your home look absolutely amazing. Just don't be surprised if your neighbors start asking "who did your exterior siding? It looks great!"
Hiring a Daly City siding company is one of those decisions you'll want to make if you want to ensure that the work is professionally done. But another common question is how much you should budget for new or replacement siding. The answer to this is that it depends entirely on your home and your needs. There is no one size fits all approach for everyone. For example, if you're looking to sell your home, fiber cement siding or James Hardie Siding adds a higher resale value and gives a better perception to prospective buyers than vinyl siding, but vinyl siding is more durable and long lasting.
You'll also want to consider the overall architectural structure of your home. Some homes look great with a more modern look like vertical siding and others with a completely different style. Of course, we understand that not everyone is an architect, that's why we're happy to answer any questions you may have as well as suggest possible ideas for your new or replacement siding that will make your home look incredible.

Daly City is a coastal community in California located at the northernmost edge of San Mateo County. It sits at the foot of San Bruno Mountain, a County and state park that features the highest peak in the area's hilly terrain, just south of San Fransisco. Daly City shares its northern border with nearly the whole of the southern border of San Fransisco. Daly City is famously known as the 'Gateway to the Peninsula.' However, it was named to honor Carlifornia businessman and landowner John Daly, an important figure in Daly City's history and a good friend of the residence after Daly City's incorporation in 1911.
Daly City's history dates back to 2700BC. People of the Ohlone language group inhabited the area up until the 16th Century. It had been claimed by Spain early 16th Century; however, San Fransisco Bay's sighting by an exploratory party with Don Gaspar de Portola as its leader did not happen until 1769. The land was then inhabited and claimed by the Spanish settlers. Much of the community influence felt in Daly City to date results from the Spanish settlers' impact during those past periods. The lands taken were used to create ranches and farms for raising cattle and sheep. The Spanish also brought their faith with them, giving rise to several missions, including the Mission San Francisco de Asis (Mission Dolores) founded by the Franciscan missionary Francisco Palou. These missions played a big role in connecting communities up and down the California Coast.
By the time Mexico was granted independence from Spain, the area between the Pacific and San Bruno Mountains was largely inhabited. The area was given to Mexican nobles in huge ranch sections for farming and cattle raising, activity, and living that remained important for generations. Over the years, Daly City experienced a great suburban expansion from San Francisco that saw massive development projects such as thousands of homes and satellite shopping centers, medical centers, a bay area-wide rail system, and Daly City's huge freeway complex. All these changes have increased Daly City's population to an estimated 106,280 people living there by 2019. Many of this population are newcomers from the Latin and Asian communities, enriching Daly City's ethnic diversity.
The climate in Daly City is cool, with few extremes such as fog occurring in early late summer and spring. The Summers are cool and dry, while winters are mild. The most pleasant months in Daly City are September, October, and august, while the least comfortable ones are January and December.
The reasons for settling in Daly City had significantly changed from when John Daly resided in the area. The now urban city boasts exceptional arts, rich cultural activities, deep history, a sense of belonging, a strong and growing economy, and a great education. Daly City is considered to be the most ethnically and socially diverse city in the country. It is also a great tourist attraction site. People go for the amazing local entertainment and culture, delicious food, the great outdoors, shopping, and even fun activities such as tandem paragliding, ax throwing, and archery.
Among the famous tourist attractions are Fisherman's Wharf, hilltop enclaves for residents, Chinatown, a cable car system, a wine country to the north. People like to visit one unusual thing while in Daly City is the Circus show folks of America Memorial in Olivet Memorial Park. This show is a cemetery for clowns, known to the locals as 'Clown Valley.' Names and dates of various circus performers passing have been written on a large memorial.
Daly City's location along the ocean and its beautiful beaches make it a must-visit for many fun and adventure seekers. The Thorton Beach State Park and Mussel Rock Park, in particular, are very famous tourist attraction sites. On a pop culture basis, Daly City has been featured on Showtime's popular TV show 'Weeds.' Daly City also inspired the hit song 'Little Boxes' in the 1960s, referring to how all the homes made from 'ticky tacky' look-alike in a row on the hill- an ode to Suburbia.
Daly City's richness and unique charm make the city deserving of its fame and glory in the U.S and to many travelers worldwide.
